ingredients
snow skin mix 500g
boiling water 120ml
Pan-yu shortening 70g
your favourite ice cream
Directions
1. mix boiling water (120ml) with snow skin mix (100g)
2. add snow skin mix (400g) and shortening (70g) into the mixture to form a soft dough.
(Optional add 2 - 3 drops of food colouring to make coloured dough)
3. Roll and flatten the dough until it is slightly bigger than the mould
4. Dust mould with flour, cover it with the dough and scoop ice cream into it.
the ratio of filling to dough should be equal in weight
5. Seal the ice cream ball in the dough completely
6. Gently press mooncake ball into mould and freeze for about 10 mins or until ice cream hardens
